STEP 1.
Before your coffee is roasted on site, GENIUS COFFEE ROASTERS sources its green coffee beans from a range of fairtrade farms including countries such as South America, Central America and Africa.
STEP 2.
The Green Coffee Beans arrives to our store cool in Green Grain Pro Bags. These bags ensure absolute freshness and minimise moisture. We then wait for a period of 24 hours for the beans to reach room temperature.
STEP 3.
Sandra opens the Grain Pro Bag and measures out the Green Beans using a Coffee Scoop.
STEP 4.
The Green Beans are then weighed on the scale.
STEP 5.
Sandra pours the pre-weighed Green Beans into the roaster.
STEP 6.
Sandra selects Eugene’s recipe program on the roaster.
STEP 7.
The Recipe has been created prior by Eugene, the results of a meticulous and explorative process roasting multiple batches. After numerous adjustments and consultations with customers, the perfect flavour profile is narrowed down and unlocked.
STEP 8.
The Beans are roasted for 7-15 minutes depending on their eventual use.
STEP. 9
The roasted beans are then stored to return to room temperature
STEP 10.
When the roasted beans have cooled Sandra decants the freshly roasted coffee into resealable bags.
